Samia Serageldin
Samia Serageldin was raised to leave Cairo, Egypt; she is the author of The Cairo House, an autobiographical novel about growing up in a political family in turbulent times; The Naqib’s Daughter, an historical novel about Bonaparte’s Egyptian campaign; and Love is Like Water and Other Stories, partly set in North Carolina. She is currently writing a first-hand account of participating in the January 25 Revolution in Egypt.
