Timothy Juhl
Timothy Juhl lives on the banks of the Maquoketa River in Iowa with his dog, Joey, a bounding lunk of canine love. Tim slings breakfast for dusty farmers and full-hipped women in a small diner. His poetry has appeared in the Red River Review, Madison Review, The MacGuffin, Sand Canyon Review, Evansville Review, Infinity’s Kitchen, and a host of other obscure journals. Tim was the recipient of two Florida Artist’s grants and a founder of the Undead Arts Collective, which was a ruse to throw elaborate parties and raise money for children’s art programs in Florida. Tim taught poetry in the Pinellas County Juvenile system for many years as an artist-in-residence and conducted poetry classes for adults through the Dunedin Fine Arts Center in Dunedin, Florida. Locked in a trunk is a useless associate’s degree in Criminal Science, and should you meet him, he will let you know within five minutes that he is a vegan. He has one of the largest collections of Mold-A-Rama souvenir figurines in the United States. Just ask him. But only after he tells you he’s a vegan.
