Amy Coquillard
Amy Coquillard was born the fourth of six children and grew up in a small town in Illinois where it seemed everyone knew her name. She’s been a book lover since she learned to read with her Scott Foresman readers and still has her original library card. She attended Kalamazoo College in Michigan and while there did foreign study experiences in both Korea and Spain. After working in college admissions in Philadelphia for six years, she and her husband moved to Tianjin, China, where she began to fulfill what seemed to be her destiny of becoming a librarian. She has also called Columbia, South Carolina; Cairo, Egypt; and Saigon, Vietnam, home, always working as a public or school librarian. She and her husband have two children and are currently pet-free.
