Henry Harman Woodall
Henry Harman Woodall grew up during Southern summers when weekly visits by the bookmobile sent him around the world and across time only steps from his home. His college career began on the gridiron but moved off in search of other interests. Woodall is a graduate of Grady College (University of Georgia). He has spent time working in print media as a reporter, photographer, and editor in locales from Georgia to New Mexico. After a stint as a bureaucrat, again following words from his mind to his hand onto the page . . . no more enjoyable journey.
Ten Things I Can’t Do Without
- My faith
- My wife
- Friendship
- Conversation–verbal and written
- Challenges
- The speed with which I can research words online while in the thick of writing (but I still own multiple dictionaries and thesauri)
- The small town in which I live and to where I returned after years on the road
- The woods, streams, and flowers around me
- Discovering music online serendipitously while researching a topic
- Uncovering personal and local history in small pieces . . . photographs and letters . . . because too many voices are now otherwise silent
