Jehanne Moharram
Jehanne Moharram grew up in Kuwait and Egypt and spent a year studying publishing in London on a Chevening scholarship. Some of her odder jobs (during which she kept scribbling in notebooks) have been as a veterinarian’s assistant, a telephone directory delivery person, a waitress, a bookseller, and a freelance journalist. Now, to help put food on the table and feed her travel habit, she works as a writer and editor at the K20 Center for Educational and Community Renewal, affiliated with the University of Oklahoma. Her first children’s book, Children’s Favorite Arabic Stories, will be published in May 2025. She lives in Norman, Oklahoma, with her family.
