Jill McCorkle
Jill McCorkle is the author of seven novels (most recent: Hieroglyphics) and four story collections. Her work has appeared in numerous periodicals, and four of her short stories have been selected for The Best American Short Stories. She has taught at Harvard University, Brandeis University, and North Carolina State University and currently teaches in the Bennington College Writing Seminars. She lives in Hillsborough, North Carolina, with her husband, photographer Tom Rankin.
