Nadia Ammar
Nadia Ammar was born in the UK to Egyptian parents but spent her childhood in North Carolina, where she attended Salem Academy. After completing a degree in English and Comparative Literature at the American University in Cairo, she moved to Spain and completed an MBA at IE Business School in Madrid. Nadia then moved to London, where she began a career as a fundraiser in the charity sector. She is currently Head of Philanthropy at Teach First, a charity that works to eradicate educational disadvantage in the UK. Before taking up that position in 2012, however, Nadia spent nearly three years running her own vegetarian catering business, Nadia’s Kitchen.
Nadia enjoys all London has to offer and also loves a challenge, including, most recently, learning to trapeze. For her next challenge, she will be living in a treehouse in the Costa Rican rainforest for a week.
