Neil Shea
Neil Shea is a writer based in Brooklyn, New York. For more than twenty years he’s worked internationally as a journalist, mostly for National Geographic magazine. He often covers conflict, climate, and cultural change, and recently he’s focused on the transformation of the far north. His first book, Frostlines: Dispatches from the New Arctic, will be published in 2025 by Ecco. Neil is also a contributing editor with the Virginia Quarterly Review and the American Scholar.
