Terry Barr
Terry Barr’s essays have appeared or will soon appear in such journals as The Bitter Southerner, Hippocampus, Red Truck Review, The Dead Mule School of Southern Literature, Full Grown People, and Blue Bonnet Review. He is a two-time Pushcart Prize nominee, and his essay collection, Don’t Date Baptists and Other Warnings from My Alabama Mother, will be published in 2016 by Red Dirt Press. He lives in Greenville, SC, with his family and teaches creative nonfiction and southern Film at Presbyterian College.
