Edward Mayes
Edward Mayes is the author of several volumes of poetry, including First Language, Juniper Prize (University of Massachusetts Press) and Works and Days, AWP Prize in Poetry (University of Pittsburgh Press). He’s published poems in The New Yorker, APR, Kenyon Review, New England Review, Best American Poetry, and Poetry. His most recently published collection is Obbligato. He and his wife, the writer Frances Mayes, divide their time between North Carolina and Cortona, Italy, where he tends his 800 olive trees and manages Bramasole Olive Oil.
