Laurel Donahoo
Laurel Donahoo, professional blogger and social media manager, was born and raised in Mississippi. She attended Mississippi State University where she majored in Communication, with an emphasis in Public Relations. She has always enjoyed journalism and photography, both of which were important aspects of her major, and has been able to combine her passion for these two fields in the form of blogging and social media management. THE HIVE, Laurel’s personal lifestyle blog, has been around since 2012 and continues to bring joy to her as a creative outlet.
Laurel also enjoys freelance writing and has had the pleasure of contributing to regional local and publications like PORTICO Jackson, Social South magazine, Inspiration Mississippi, and the Scout Guide Jackson blog.
Laurel now lives in Madison, Mississippi, with her husband and best friend, Price; her two children, Wilson and Lily Ryan; their three dogs, Delta, Dover, and Ringo; and is expecting to add a baby boy to her family in November. Laurel enjoys a good margarita, could eat tacos every single day without ever getting tired of them, loves to travel (especially to New York City!), and lives by the life motto to choose joy because life is just too short not to!
