Sophie Ernst Mintz

Sophie Ernst Mintz is a dance artist and writer. Born in Boston, she grew up in Claremont, CA and Chapel Hill, NC, with childhood stints in India and Pakistan. She graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a concentration in dance and writing. She lives in New York City with her husband and two children. She has recently finished a novel, Shalimar Gardens, inspired by her experiences studying kathak dance in Pakistan as a child.
