Brian K. Fennessy
Brian K. Fennessy is a Ph.D. Candidate in United States history at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A native of Cranston, Rhode Island, and an alumnus of Sewanee: The University of the South, Brian has both northern roots and southern ties. He is currently working on a dissertation titled, “Reconstructed Rebels,” about former Confederates who joined the Republican party during Congressional Reconstruction.
